After Everything soundtrack – 21 songs from indie artists to James Bay and Shouse

After Everything has arrived on streaming, prompting fans to delve into the movie’s soundtrack which blends songs from indie artists to the likes of James Bay and Shouse.

Music often plays a key role in the world of film and TV as the use of licensed songs or an original score can help to inspire just the right emotions from viewers. As a steamy romantic drama, that is especially crucial for a film like After Everything which boasts a soundtrack of more than 20 songs from artists both large and small.

After Everything release date and plot preview

After Everything hit limited theater screens on September 13, 2023, and was made available through video on demand in the US on October 3.

Following the events of After Ever Happy, which saw Tessa and Hardin tearfully break up, the fifth and final installment of the steamy franchise sees Hardin attempting to make amends.

Who composed the score?

As well as using a number of licensed songs, After Everything also makes use of an emotional score that is the work of composer George Kallis.

Born on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus and now based in Los Angeles, Kallis has been composing music for films and TV series since the early 2000s.

He has more than 70 composing credits to his name including the likes of 93 Days, My Life, and the last two entries in the After series prior to After Everything, 2021’s After We Fell and 2022’s After Ever Happy.

George Kallis’s score for After Everything was released on music streaming sites such as Spotify and Apple Music on September 13 to coincide with the movie’s theatrical release.

After Everything is available to purchase via digital stores in the US while fans in the UK can stream the film on Prime Video.
