The Cash Money Records founder has got hip-hop fans questioning on Twitter after his recent claims about the Peurto Rican rapper. Bad Bunny is the man of the hour in the music industry. The singer has been making waves with both his music and relationship with supermodel Kendall Jenner. Drake on the other hand recently dominated Twitter with his For All The Dogs album release. Now it’s Birdman’s claims that Bad Bunny is signed to Drake’s label OVO that has got fans talking on the platform.

Bad Bunny who seemingly confirmed his upcoming album in a tweet recently is the subject of another round of rumors spreading on social media. A recent clip shared by No Jumper features Birdman talking about Bad Bunny and Drake‘s connection. “Bad Bunny already signed to Drake, y’all just don’t know it,” the 54-year-old says as the hosts react with surprise.
When the host asks under what label the 29-year-old signed to the Canadian rapper, Birdman names OVO. Many hip-hop fans may already know that OVO Sound is an independent Canadian record label founded by Drake in 2012. As of 2023, the label houses artists like Majid Jordan, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Popcaan, OB OBrien, Dvsn, and more.
When Birdman was asked how long the Efecto singer has been signed to Drake, he said “Day one.” His claims have received a lot of attention from hip-hop fans who are now weighing in with their opinions.
HITC and GRV Media have reached out to both Bad Bunny and Drake for comment on Birdman’s claims.
Fans react
Fans were left divided after Birdman’s comments.
Some called his claims “cap” while others believed him.
“Birdman just rubbed his hands together and Bad Bunny signed the deal,” one fan who could not believe the claims said.
“Birdman just be saying anything lol,” another chimed in.
Others believed the claims with one saying, “We all kinda suspected that lol thanks Birdman.”
Another fan chimed in saying, “That’s insane lol if Drake is behind one of best Latin rappers of this generation.”

For the unversed, the multi-Grammy winner is officially signed to Hear This Music and RIMAS.
Hear This Music is a label founded by DJ Luian, Fernando Verduguez, and Mambo Kingz. RIMAS on the other hand is an independent Puerto Rican label that also houses artists like Arcángel, Cris MJ, Amenazzy, Corina Smith, Tempo, Eladio Carrión, Pailita, Big Soto, and more.
Bad Bunny has been signed to RIMAS since 2016.
