BTS member Suga, who is also known as Min Yoongi, recently opened up about his apology to his fans because of an incident that occurred.
Suga got in trouble for drunk driving.
Suga was out drinking with his friends and then decided to return home using an electric kickboard.
BTS Suga Gets His License Revoked and Fined
While heading home, he did not know that using an electric kickboard while drunk was illegal and should not be done.
Suga fell off the kickboard because it was unstable, and he tried to park it outside his house.
A police officer who was nearby stopped and tried to help him up.
When he did so, he realized something was off with Suga and made him take a breathalyzer test to measure the alcohol level in his blood.
The test showed that Suga was drunk, and the police revoked his license, which also led him to receive a fine.
Suga’s note read,
“Hello. This is Suga. It is with a very heavy and apologetic heart that I have to come to you with such disappointment. After drinking at dinner last night, I rode home on an electric kickboard. I violated road traffic laws without realising that I was not allowed to use an electric kickboard while drunk due to the simple thought that it was a short distance away.”
However, no one was hurt in this incident, and there was no damage to property as well.
He was extremely sorry and apologetic for what happened.
Suga opened up, admitting his mistake as well.
Suga said that he did not think it was a big deal to use the kickboard after being drunk, since he thought it was okay to travel a short distance.
He also promised to be more careful in the future to avoid any accidents. The singer also acknowledged that he was responsible for his actions and was not trying to make excuses to hide anything.
His music company, BigHit Music, also released an apology letter on his behalf.
The company stated that Suga was wearing a helmet when he was using the kickboard, so he did not face any injuries.
They also said that the singer would face disciplinary action because of his behavior, and the company claimed that they would also try to keep track of Suga and his actions in the future.
