Dr. Dalton Renick Fired from Carilion Clinic Following Disturbing Allegations, Know Everything Here
Dr. Dalton Renick from Roanoke, VA, has been fired by Carilion Clinic after shocking allegations about his behaviour, which were investigated by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
Dr. Dalton M. Renick, a paediatrician, had been working at a clinic in Virginia from August 2021 until February 2024. During his tenure, there were multiple complaints from the clinic staff and the parents of his patients.
The complaints were received by the Virginia Board of Medicine, and a meeting was held on August 22, 2024.
Carilion Clinic Dismisses Dr. Dalton Renick After Grave Allegations
After evaluating the evidence, the Board concluded that Dr. Renick posed a danger to public health and safety.
As a result, they suspended his medical license.

The complaints against Dr. Dalton M. Renick were very serious and came from the parents of his young patients.
It was alleged that Dalton Renick used inappropriate language during their visits and even used the “f-word” multiple times in front of both parents and children.
Other allegations included Dr Renick making an inappropriate comment about a newborn.
Dalton Renick told a parent that the smell of the baby reminded him of his daughter and made him want to “f**k them.”
This obnoxious comment was deeply disturbing to the parents and led to more complaints.
There were other instances which revealed the sick and disturbing facet of Dr. Renick.
In one incident, Dr. Renick compared syringe feeding to a “c*m shot” and used offensive language when talking to both patients and staff.
To make things worse, Dalton Renick also engaged in inappropriate comments about people’s physical appearances, including their race and ethnicity.
Dr. Renick’s repulsive behaviour was also revealed by his coworkers, who were also at the receiving end.
He incessantly used abusive language and also made inappropriate comments about others.
One nurse recounted how he told her that she was “fat as f**k” during her pregnancy.
A nurse, who was in a state of trauma after a child she recently cared for died, asked how to prevent another child from dying.
Dalton Renick cruelly suggested they take the child to a different clinic.
Incidentally, Dr Renick’s behaviour was reported to the clinic’s management, but despite multiple warnings and meetings, Dr Renick’s behaviour did not improve.
Finally, the clinic suspended him in January 2024, started its internal investigation, and on February 8, 2024, his employment was terminated.
