Dr Stone Season 3 Episode 22 Ending Explained: In Dr Stone New World Episode 22, titled “Beyond the New World”, Tsukasa is finally freed from his frozen state, and the Kingdom of Science plans for future endeavours. Dr Stone Season 3 Finale premiered on December 21, 2023.
Dr Stone: New World (ドクターストーン) is an animation series based on the manga of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by the South Korean artist Boichi. Dr Stone: New World Part 2 will cover the “New World” arc from the manga series. The story continues to follow Senku, who manages to create the Nitric acid again with the help of platinum which will be used to free the world from the stone age.
From studios of TMS Entertainment, the show is produced by TOHO Animation, Shueisha and 8PAN. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes. The opening theme is Haruka (遥か) performed by Ryujin Kiyoshi while the ending theme is Suki ni Shinayo (好きにしなよ) performed by Anly for Dr Stone New World Cour 2.

Why was Tsukasa frozen?
Due to a stabbing that pierced one of Tsukasa’s lungs and the absence of medical professionals, tools, and advanced technology to address the severe injuries, Tsukasa’s remaining days were numbered. Resting in a bed adorned with bandages, Tsukasa faced a grim fate. In a desperate attempt to save him, Senku proposed an unconventional solution: preserving Tsukasa’s body in a cryogenic freezer. The plan involved utilizing Medusa’s light that had petrified humanity, turning Tsukasa into a statue and subsequently reviving him to reverse the fatal injury.
How was Tsukasa revived?
In Dr Stone New World Finale, the remarkable revival fluid proves effective in its application to Tsukasa. In order to rescue him from his dire condition, the initial step involves utilizing the Medusa to induce petrification. Through concerted efforts, they muster just enough power to initiate the petrification process. Subsequently, employing the potent revival fluid, they successfully bring Tsukasa back from his petrified state, marking a triumphant reversal of his perilous situation.
Immediately after Tsukasa is revived, Senku informs him that they are going to the moon next. It shocks Tsukasa at first but je gladly joins the team and offers his help.

What are Senku’s future plans?
Recognizing the necessity of resources beyond Japan if they wanted to pursue the goal of reaching the moon, Senku strategically outlined their ambitious plan. He decides to embark on a global journey, traversing the world to gather essential supplies. As the impending winter looms, the team diligently prepares the ship for departure. Yuzuriha and Kaseki collaborate, using Senku’s meticulously devised plans to craft an intricate 3-D roadmap, detailing not only their upcoming maritime endeavours but also their future voyages to the moon.

The map is marked with key locations, illustrating the cities they aim to establish worldwide while simultaneously reviving populations and accumulating vital resources. In order to expand their capacity to revive more individuals, Senku emphasizes the importance of cultivating corn to produce additional alcohol. This strategic decision sets their initial destination for their global odyssey to the United States of America, where the cultivation of corn will be instrumental in creating the essential alcohol needed for their revival efforts.
