Harry Styles and Kimberly Stewart
In April 2014, E reported that 19-year-old Harry was dating 33-year-old Kimberly Stewart, who is the daughter of singer Rod Stewart.
A source said the pair were “introduced by a mutual friend who set them up” and were “very happy” together.
“Kim is very strong-willed, she goes for what she wants and Harry appreciates that. It is a very new thing and we’ll see where it goes.”
The insider added that she is “exactly his type”. It came shortly after they were spotted having dinner with her dad at Craig’s in Los Angeles.
They dined with Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster and Kimberly held her hand on the One Direction star’s back as they climbed into the car.
Rod Stewart hints that Styles stayed over
During an appearance on Alan Carr’s old talk show Chatty Man, Rod Stewart then hinted that Harry and Kimberly spent the night together.
“His car was here in the morning. Let’s put it that way,” he said. “But he may just have come round to pick something up.”
“B*******, I let the cat out of the bag!” the singer then squealed after realising he had given quite a lot away.
Kimberly is an American socialite, television personality, and model. Her mother is actress and model Alana Stewart.
Taylor Swift’s new song teases Harry romance
Harry and Kimberly are the talk of the internet following Taylor Swift’s new track Is It Over Now, which fans are convinced is about him.
In the song, she talks about an ex-lover who has moved on with a new woman. One line says: “Your new girl is my clone.”
She discusses watching him date another girl in the public eye with the lyric: “And did you think I didn’t see you?/ There were flashin’ lights.”
It’s not clear whether the song is actually about Harry moving on with Stewart, but he was linked with her shortly after his split from Swift.
Some lines do appear to reference him too, including one about a snowmobile accident and wearing a blue dress on a boat.
