-My Happy Marriage Episode 12 Review Does Not Contain Any Spoilers-

The finale episode has to be one of the best ones so far in the series. It gives the audience everything they had been asking for and more! Moreover, all the loose ends and the answered questions have been answered, tying the story together elegantly. Most of all, the episode is filled with beautiful romantic moments that manage to make everyone emotional.

Until now, the hero and saviour of the story has always been Kiyoka. He is a character displayed with a lot of strength and determination to help everyone around him. Moreover, he took it upon himself to protect Miyo at all costs. However, the plot changes in the episode, and we witness both the main characters in a new light.

Miyo gracefully transforms herself into a higher being by embracing her power. But she had to accept herself to take the next step finally. She had to love herself, embrace her existence and heal her inner child to acquire the advantages of her extraordinary power entirely. Her gradual character growth reaches another peak in the new episode, showing a side of her that we did not know existed.

Additionally, Kiyoka has shown tremendous growth as well. When first introduced, he was rather stern and did not care much about anything outside his work. But when we look at him now, he has completely transformed into a caring, loving and, most importantly, an expressive person who cherishes Miyo. Kiyoka is more glad to watch Miyo grow into a confident woman than anyone else.

Apart from the plot, the animation of the episode is another aspect which elevates the quality. Miyo’s transformation into fully taking control of her dream sight is shown in an extremely detailed manner. Moreover, the use of soothing yet vibrant colours adds substance to an already beautiful story.

My Happy Marriage Episode 12 Review: Final Thoughts

Without a doubt, the final episode of the series is one of the best ones so far. Although the story is rushed a little at the end, all the segregated parts converge together to provide the full picture. Moreover, the massive character growth makes the watch equally interesting and satisfying. As usual, the animation team did not disappoint in this episode as well and delivered a fitting end to the marvellous story.
