My Man is Cupid Episode 7 Recap
The episode starts off with Sang-hyuk agreeing to stay the night at Baek-ryun’s place for her safety. When Do-ra, Baek-ryun and Sang-hyuk drink rice wine, Do-ra asks him whether he likes Baek-ryun. Sang-hyuk simply denies it again and again making Baek-ryun extremely upset and uncomfortable. When Do-ra leaves them two in the room for them to share and sleep, the duo have an awkward moment before they split up to sleep in separate rooms.
Sang-hyuk dreams about Jeong-ah and starts to have a bizarre night loaded with guilt for not being able to save her. He remembers her and regrets that he couldn’t protect Jeong-ah when she was targeted by the killer. As the morning unfolds, Sang-Hyuk suggests to Baek-Ryun that she should help the police in the Go Eun-Seo kidnapping case. Baek-Ryun agrees wholeheartedly, wanting to play a role in catching the bad person because she feels bad for Eun-seo as well as doesn’t want more cases as such.

At the police station, Officer Jae-Hee and his team are working hard to find clues about the killer. Sadly, they discover that another witness has been hurt by the bad person. Checking the security cameras, they see Baek-Ryun was there during the latest attack. To make things easier, they once again make Baek-ryun undergo the hypnosis treatment to remember the face of the killer. She does picture him and describes it to the cops, who sketch him.
Afterward, Baek-Ryun leaves the station with Sang-Hyuk, and to her surprise, it’s snowing outside. While watching the snow she forgets about the serial killer and happily enjoys it. She then feels the moment the right one and confesses her feelings for Sang-hyuk once again, leaving him perplexed. She then walks away sadly knowing he won’t reciprocate it. But to her surprise, he comes and hugs her. The words of Baek-ryun make Sang-Hyuk remember how he lost someone he cared about before. Afraid of losing Baek-Ryun in the same way, he runs after her and they share a warm hug.
Later, Sang-Hyuk realizes that the killer hasn’t been able to harm Baek-Ryun when he’s with her, meaning if he stays beside he can save her from threat. The next day, Sang-Hyuk decides to join the police force and assist Jae-Hee in directly investigating the serial killer case, and also protect Baek-ryun. The episode ends with Jae-hee wondering what’s happening.
My Man is Cupid Episode 7 Review
The series has been unfolding at a good speed without any unnecessary scenes and such. It’s nice to see the main leads falling for each other and hopefully, when they recollect their past, I hope they don’t split but rather give it a shot. Jae-hee, the second lead, might act crazy if he remembers his past and how Sang-hyuk ruined his love story, but he seems like a good man. Hence, let’s hope he lets it go easily. So far, the serial killer lead isn’t guessable so I assume it must be someone unknown or maybe someone hidden in plain-sight.
