Ocasio-Cortez EXPLICIT PHOTO meltdown – She wanted this hidden!

Conflating partisan with public interest, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) clapped back at complaints over a new Senate rule with a callback to “revenge porn” photos submitted as evidence by Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R).

Senate Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) decision to coddle his Pennsylvania peer Sen. John Fetterman by loosening dress code requirements caused quite an uproar on Capitol Hill. While some imagined ways to exploit the policy with “string bikinis,” others had seen it as nothing less than “disgraceful.”

Among them was Greene who had posted to X Sunday, “The Senate no longer enforcing a dress code for Senators to appease Fetterman is disgraceful. Dress code is one of society’s standards that set etiquette and respect for our institutions. Stop lowering the bar!”

However, lowering the bar remained a specialty for some in Congress and Ocasio-Cortez appeared to take it as a personal challenge by bringing up the Georgia lawmaker’s use of explicit photos from Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop during a congressional hearing.

“Aren’t you the one who did revenge porn in a hearing,” she captioned Greene’s post on X.

The reference harkened back to a July House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing where the congresswoman had questioned IRS whistleblower Joseph Ziegler about whether or not President Joe Biden’s son had violated the federal Mann Act of 1910 that prohibits transportation of women across state lines “for the purpose of prostitution or debauchery, or for any other immoral purpose.”

“So when Hunter Biden paid for this woman to do this with him to travel across state lines from California to Washington, D.C. on June 15 — this is a violation of the Mann Act. This was prostitution,” said Greene during the hearing as she displayed images of Hunter Biden committing sexual acts.

Of course, the once-dancing bartender of Boston University who pontificates on politics while applying makeup wasn’t alone in attempting to posture as the arbiter of what was or wasn’t acceptable behavior for elected representatives.

Fetterman had also attempted to slam Greene over her complaint of the lowered standards using the same argument as Ocasio-Cortez when his social media account posted, “Thankfully, the nation’s lower chamber lives by a higher code of conduct: displaying ding-a-ling pics in public hearings.”

Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin (D), ranking member of the Oversight Committee, had complained at the time as well, asking Kentucky Rep. James Comer (R), “Should we be displaying this, Mr. Chairman?”

He went on to write a letter to Comer that read in part, “These pictures were displayed across America for purely voyeuristic, sensationalistic, and sadistic purposes.”

“Our Committee, which was once chaired by heroes of the public interest like Henry Waxman and Elijah Cummings, is rapidly being reduced to the level of a 1970s-era dime store peep show,” Raskin continued before later adding, “If this was acceptable for Rep. Greene, you are establishing it as acceptable for all Members.”

Worth noting as Democrats have come to the defense of a candidate running for the Virginia House of Delegates, was Ocasio-Cortez’s specific use of the term “revenge porn” in targeting Greene’s complaint over the dress code.

As previously reported, members of the Democratic Party had attempted to fundraise after Susanna Gibson’s live-streamed sexual encounters with her husband had been reported on by The Washington Post. Her attorney Daniel P. Watkins had labeled the story said to have been exposed by a “Republican operative” as a violation of Virginia’s revenge porn law that made it a Class 1 misdemeanor to “maliciously” distribute nude or sexual images with “intent to coerce, harass, or intimidate.”

Regarding Ocasio-Cortez’s outcry, reactions could perhaps best be summed up as “Thats a hell of a spin.”
