The episode opens with Zombieman visiting Dr. Genus to find out why he decided to shut down his laboratory. Genus explains that he had encountered a being whose power surpassed anything science could ever create, referring to Saitama. As he elaborates on Saitama’s strength, the scene shifts to Garo’s ongoing battle with two monsters.

Dr. Genus reveals that all living beings possess a built-in limiter that prevents their bodies from overexerting themselves, as exceeding that limit could lead to self-destruction or a complete loss of humanity, effectively turning one into a monster. Saitama, however, managed to break through this natural barrier, transcending those limits entirely. Meanwhile, Garo’s fight takes a dark turn. Just as he’s about to claim victory, a new villain appears, brutally overpowering him and abducting the very child Garo was trying to protect.

Back at Saitama’s apartment, the mood is much lighter. His friends are debating whether he really managed to defeat Garo when Saitama walks in. The conversation quickly shifts to humor as Dr. Kuseno arrives. Although Saitama seems indifferent at first, his attitude changes the moment Kuseno offers him some meat, sparking a comedic exchange. Elsewhere, within the Monster Association, Gyoro Gyoro learns about Garo’s apparent death but shows little concern. He orders the captured child to be eliminated immediately and announces preparations for an inevitable showdown with the heroes, who are close to discovering their hideout.

This episode begins with Garo waking up from the dead and being surprised that he managed to survive even after such an attack. He realises something, his clothes have fused with his body, and surprisingly, he is not as hurt as he should be after such an attack. This makes one thing clear: there has been something really wrong with Garo, and he might not be a human anymore. After that, we see Child Emperor being sceptical about Genos and Bang. As there is no information regarding where Genos came from, Child Emperor suggests not to take him or Bang for the Monster Association infiltration project and leave them out.

Back at Saitama’s room, everybody gathers to feast on hot pot, and there, some interesting conversation takes place between Fubuki and others. She starts to berate everyone, and Genos is not at all happy about it. He firmly tells her that he will incarcerate her if she does not stop insulting others. Later, they all go home, but King spends the night at Saitama’s place as he passes out after fighting for food.

Later, we see him dumping some garbage from Saitama’s house and then getting back to his apartment. However, people from the Hero Association were already there to take him to the headquarters. As they’re going to raid the Monster Association, they will need King’s help.

Garo is still alive, and it is highly unlikely that he will actually side with the Monster Association right now after they tried to kill him. And that’s where a thrilling conclusion comes in this episode.

Verdict

I enjoyed this episode more than the previous ones. I also believe this had some pacing issues, but other than that, this was a nice episode.
