Pretty Pastel Please, a well-known YouTuber, died on June 26, 2024.
The family shared the news of her death online on July 5.
Recently, the reason behind her death was revealed as a rare heart condition called lymphocytic myocarditis.

Lymphocytic myocarditis is a serious condition where the heart muscles become swollen and inflamed.
This causes the heart to work harder to pump blood, which makes it overworked. These are usually caused by viral infections or other inflammatory issues.
The disease is so rare that it affects only one in 15 million people.
The family explained how serious and debilitating the disease is. The disease can lead to an excruciating death. It affects the heart muscles and can cause problems with respiration, heartbeat, and oxygen levels.
This can lead to irregular heartbeats, chest pain, fatigue, and more.
Before her death, Alexandra mentioned on her broadcast that she felt faint and was having a hard time breathing.
The family also mentioned that she previously went through kidney failure and had reactions to the COVID-19 booster shots as well.
“Alex’s initial autopsy report however was normal and the disease was only found during microscopic toxicology investigations and was reported to us a few days ago leaving us all extremely traumatized again,”
their post read.

After her death, the body was taken for autopsy.
The report looked normal, and the disease was diagnosed much later when they ran microscopic tests on her body. The additional tests of the heart and veins led the doctors to their final verdict on the disease which affected Alexandra.
A memorial service was held for her on August 11, 2024, at the Greyfriars Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland. This event allowed her loved ones, family, friends, and everyone else to come and commemorate their love for her and pray for her peaceful afterlife.
