Robbie Manson Talks About Earning More from OnlyFans

OnlyFans is an international-based subscription service where people tend to share their adult and explicit images online. The user has to pay a monthly subscription fee to their creators and get access to their content online. Mostly, OnlyFans has been used for creators who tend to get their money online without waiting for ads on their content.

Robbie Manson revealed in an interview that he earns more from his OnlyFans account than from his rowing career.

Manson opened up,

“I get more than double what I would be on otherwise as an athlete—read into that what you will, but I am making more from OnlyFans than I am from rowing at this stage… I have a few friends that have supported me, but I don’t have any big personal sponsors or anything—the team obviously has their sponsors, but I’ve never had an issue with that or Rowing New Zealand.”

Even though New Zealand covers the cost of his practices, it does not cover living expenses. So Robbie is highly dependent on this income from OnlyFans to live on.

Robbie has also mentioned on OnlyFans that he is an openly gay athlete. He was inspired by Matthew Mitcham, a retired diver who won the Olympic gold medal in 2008. Matthew recently opened up about how athletes should use OnlyFans to supplement their income.

Robbie Manson says,

“The fact that I’m gay, I have the gay following and the audience already, and I’m slightly leaning into that… Artistic nudes—I don’t want to say too much more than that, I think people need to subscribe if they want to know what’s exactly on there.”

Matthew also talked about Jack Laugher, who is getting criticism for his OnlyFans account, and said that athletes don’t make enough money than they should on an average basis. Robbie mentioned that his LGBTQ audience has been very supportive.

Robbie posts “artistic nudes,” but some of his content is hidden, for which a person has to pay more to get access.
