Single’s Inferno 3 Episodes 6 and 7 Review: A Difficult Choice Looms Over the Contestants

In the last two episodes, an intense game among the male contestants takes them to Paradise, wherein feelings change after new information comes out and walls come down. A new contestant’s arrival creates a stir among the contestants, resulting in all the men vying for her attention. After getting hot and cold responses from Min-young, Jin-seok decides to devote his time to Min-ji, who also seems to be quite taken with him.

In the third season of the show, AKA 솔로지옥 3, we are back on the deserted island (and a new location) with rapper Hanhae, Hong Jin-kyung, actor Lee Da-hee and Super Junior’s Kyuhyun as MCs. Joining them is Dex, or breakout star Kim Jin-young, Season 2’s most popular wild card entry who had all the women swooning. The group of singles this time in Single’s Inferno 3 are Kim Gyu-ri, Choi Hye-seon, Choi Min-woo, Lee Jin-seok, An Min-young, and Lee Gwan-hee in the first group. The second group consists of Park Min-kyu, Son Won-ik, Yun Ha-bin, Yun Ha-jeong, and Yu Si-eun. The show was created by Kim Jae-won, Kim Jung-hyun and Kim Na-hyun.

Single’s Inferno 3 Episode 6 Recap

single's inferno 3 episodes 6 and 7

This week’s first episode isn’t kidding around because it starts off with the women fighting it out in a ‘Catch the Tail’ game. Gyu-ri, Si-eun and Ha-jeong win their rounds and then go on a three-way fight, each wanting to go to Paradise with Min-woo. In the end, Gyu-ri wins after an intense battle, leaving the men with their mouths agape!

Min-young takes Jin-seok away for a chat afterwards, and they talk about his time with Min-ji. It’s clear that she’s really into him, but Jin-seok seems to have lost his liking for her. Meanwhile, Si-eun and Min-woo go out for a chat, and it’s clear, thanks to the cute and romantic vibe, that they both are attracted to each other. Even the MCs end up cheering them on!

During the couple-matching session, Gyu-ri chooses Min-woo, much to everyone’s dissatisfaction. Hye-seon chooses Won-ik, and Gwan-hee looks a little disappointed, and Si-eun chooses Min-kyu. After the couples leave, Ha-jeong talks to Gwan-hee to apologise about her outburst the other day, and he seems like he’s over it as well. However, the MCs discuss that Gwan-hee’s cool attitude might point to his disinterest in continuing a connection with Ha-jeong.

Later, during lunch, Min-ji realises the dynamic between Min-young and Jin-seok, and it’s a bit awkward for everyone involved. However, things move on in the evening when the people left in Inferno discuss their feelings about the experience and whether or not they have made up their minds about the person they like. In the end, Ha-bin and Ha-jeong end up talking about their connection and he mentions that he would like to go to Prardise with her in order to have a propose and candid conversation.

Elsewhere, Min-young and Jin-seok also have a candid conversation, which ends disastrously after he mentions that her timing of expressing her feelings right after he leaves for Paradise doesn’t feel genuine to him. The episode ends with Ha-jeong confessing her feelings for Gwan-hee.

Single’s Inferno 3 Episode 7 Recap

The episode starts with Ha-jeong confessing her feelings for Gwan-hee and telling him that she got mad at her because she was jealous. Gwan-hee opens up about his feelings as well and tells her that he is upset about her behaviour and steers the conversation down a very confusing and accusatory path. The MCs are left confused at his implications, and Lee Da-hee wonders in disbelief whether he is dumb or something!

Later, Ha-jeong helps Min-young out by telling her to try more with Jin-seok instead of letting things die just like that so that she doesn’t regret it later on.

Next, we move to the Paradise dates and see the interaction between Hye-seon and Won-ik, who seem to be getting on quite well but the romance factor is severely missing. Elsewhere, Min-woo and Gyu-ri go on a yacht ride, and their conversation also feels like it’s going nowhere. It’s the same with Min-kyu and Si-eun’s conversation, and she continues to discuss her feelings for Min-woo with him.

The next day, everyone sits down for breakfast with rather awkward vibes when the Paradise winners come back. The groups sit down to chat and spill tea about their dates. While most mention that they had a great time, Ha-bin and Min-kyu tell Gwan-hee that Hye-seon has a huge crush on Won-ik, which confuses and infuriates the MCs.

We then move on to a game for the men for a chance to go to Paradise. It’s an extremely lengthy race on the other island, which is extremely rocky and hilly. After a gruelling run for all the men, Gwan-hee, Won-ik and Min-kyu win the race. Gwan-hee chats with Hye-seon and the two discuss their feelings for each other, and from the looks of it, the two might end up choosing each other in the end. Meanwhile, Min-ji and Jin-seok also open up about their feelings, and she continues to show her feelings for him openly. On the other hand, Won-ik also has a conversation with Si-eun, who seems thoroughly uninterested in him.

However, when the moment comes for the couple matching, the episode cuts out – fans have to wait till next week to know who goes with whom.

Single’s Inferno 3 Episodes 6 and 7 Review

The episodes feel like a warm and fun watch this time around, and other than the peppering of drama and intensity of the games (two this time!), we get a lot of funny moments and equally humorous quips from the MCs, which makes these two episodes really entertaining. With everyone’s changing feelings and confusing moments, one is sure to be left confused about the final choices. However, before we get there, the latest episodes are quite bubbly and cute and quite watchable.

The series is streaming on Netflix.
