Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 3 Preview: The famous hit South Korean drama Strong Woman Do Bong-soon (힘쎈여자 도봉순) spin-off series Strong Girl Nam-soon (힘쎈여자 강남순) of the is directed by Kim Jung-Sik and written by Baek Mi-Kyeong. Starring Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Jung-eun, Kim Hae-sook, Ong Seong-wu and Byeon Woo-seok in the lead roles, the series will follow a young girl named Nam-soon and her immense strength being used for the good. The series is produced by JTBC and is distributed by Netflix.
The series takes up the story of Bong-soon’s sixth cousin, Kang Nam-soon (Lee Yoo-mi) who has similar strength to her cousin. After getting lost in Magnolia, Nam-soon returns to South Korea to find her family. She successfully finds her mother (Kim Jung-eun) and grandmother (Kim Hae-sook) but little does she know, the trio are in for a big treat.
Lee Yoo-mi made it big after her pivotal role in Squid Game (2021). She was last seen in All of Us Are Dead (2022). Kim Jung-eun’s last ventures are Missing: The Other Side (2020-2023) and DNA Mate (since 2022). Kim Hae-sook’s latest work was Revenant (2023). Speaking of Ong Seong-wu, he was last seen in the movie Starlight Falls (2023) while Byeon Woo-seok’s latest project was Soulmate (2023).

Nam-soon’s father Bong-go might not realise she is Nam-soon though in the second episode, it ended like he felt the vibe. Since Hwa-ja found Nam-soon’s place, she will try to keep her away from Geum-ju as she doesn’t want to lose the riches. However, she doesn’t know that Geum-ju is aware of her scam.
There will be serious drug issues happening in South Korea that will put the police in pressure. Geum-ju will take things in her hand to ensure her daughter is safe from the bizarre drug war. Meanwhile, Hee-sik will simultaneously look into the drug case as well as aid Nam-soon. He already likes her and will fall slowly in love with her. Nam-soon will save someone from another narrow tragedy and will also have a fight with Hwa-ja.

Nam-soon’s arrival in South Korea is marked by her heroic act of saving a troubled flight, catching the attention of Hee-sik, who is searching for drugs. He confiscates most of Nam-soon’s luggage, including her gold wand, promising to help her find her mother after inspection. During the search, Hee-sik comes across bundles of masks and first inspects them before letting them go knowing they belong to a nurse. However, it is indeed the drug that is transformed into synthetic masks. Nam-soon rents out an apartment and spends the night there.
Geum-ju becomes suspicious of Hwa-ja and orders her to be monitored after experiencing the power going out from her because of the real Nam-soon’s activity. Meanwhile, the mysterious death of CEO Park raises Geum-ju’s suspicions of a deeper conspiracy. Determined to reunite with her daughter, Geum-ju prepares to take matters into her own hands.
Hee-sik discovers that Nam-soon’s belongings are genuine, including her gold wand, but struggles to contact her. Meanwhile, Hwa-ja uncovers a secret room in Geum-ju’s office. Nam-soon, realizing she’s been deceived and forced to leave her apartment, constructs a ger in Han River Park. At the police station, she seeks information about Hee-sik, only to find her ger occupied by two strangers. Nam-soon promises to build them another ger, leading to an unexpected bonding experience.
Elsewhere, Hee-sik worries about Nam-soon’s disappearance but is preoccupied with a drug exchange case at a mall. He manages to catch one suspect and gains access to the man’s phone. Meanwhile, the face masks left behind by Hee-sik at the airport find their way to a high-tech lab where a dangerous drug is extracted.
Hee-sik eventually learns of Nam-soon’s situation, returns her wand, and promises to assist her in finding her mother. He provides her with money and offers help with her passport and other needs. After showing her his house, Hee-sik relaxes at home, dancing happily while Nam-soon observes from a distance. The next morning, Nam-soon goes to Bong’s photo studio and the episode ends with her father looking at her in awe.
