The Kidnapping Day Overview

The Kidnapping Day (유괴의 날) is a comedy thriller Kdrama directed by Park Yoo-young and based on the novel of the same Korean name “Yugwaei Nal” by writer Jung Hae-yeon. The drama stars Yoon Kye-sang, Park Sung-hoon, Yu Na, Kim Shin-rok, Kim Sang-ho, and Seo Je-hee alongside other cast members.

The drama tells the story of a helpless father who accepts the idea of kidnapping a rich kid goes wrong when he finds out that the little one’s parents are dead. The little girl has already lost her memory due to an accident prior to her kidnapping and the man claims to be her father. However, the little girl soon uncovers his web of lies while he tries to investigate what really happened.

The synopsis of the Kdrama reads: “A father turned clumsy kidnapper and a genius child working together to uncover the truth behind a series of murders and mysteries.”

The series will stream from September 13, 2023, to October 19, 2023. Episode 6 of the ENA series will broadcast on September 28 at 9:00 PM KST and will be available for streaming at 8:00 PM IST.

The Kidnapping Day Episode 6 Prediction

Ro-hee is caught by the investors while Myung-joon’s life is in danger on the boat. Meanwhile, a dispute breaks out between Eun-sun and Jayden where one needs Ro-hee for her child while the other just sees her as a good investment. Ro-hee waits for Myung-joon and and for him to be brought, however, her survival at this place is no longer as easy.

On the other hand, Myung-joon is finally caught by Sang-yoon but the latter is shocked when he tells him about what Ro-hee saw. However, when Sang-yoon leaves to find Park Cheol-won, he disappears and causes more problems for Sang-yoon.

The Kidnapping Day Episode 5 Recap

Episode 5 brings Ro-hee and Myung-joon to Eun-sun who tells them about the experiments conducted on Ro-hee and its importance to be carried on. Thus, leaving Myung-joon no choice but to leave, the two prepare for their parting moment with regrets and hopes for happiness.

Meanwhile, Sang-yoon is given a deadline to find the two and he puts his all into finding all that he can about Myung-joon, leading him to Hye-sun, Cheol-won and the incident from 30 years ago. However, when a nurse who witnessed this incident breaks her silence, bigger plots are revealed and the mystery gets bigger.

Elsewhere, Myung-joon tries to give Ro-hee every bit of happiness that he can before he leaves only to become an eyesore for Eun-sun. She has him prepare to leave the very same night, but Ro-hee has another flashback which lets her know that the culprit is not an officer but someone with a yellow siren on their car.

The two then decide to escape from the place and Ro-hee tells him to meet her at the highway while she sneaks out from here. Myung-joon meets his daughter for the last time and boards the ship, however, when he tries to get off it later, he is made to faint. Elsewhere, Ro-hee tries to run away but is stopped by an approaching car which belongs to another investor- Jayden.
