The internet is buzzing with the news that the Democratic Party pick, Tim Walz’s family, supports the Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The trending caption ‘Walz’s for Trump’ flooded the internet after pictures of eight members of Tim Walz’s family went viral, and it was claimed that all the members were supporting Donald Trump in the forthcoming US Presidential elections in November.
The pictures have been dubbed as AI-generated by many netizens, however the popular fact-checking website “Snopes” in its detailed article has confirmed that the image is genuine and real.
Does Tim Walz’s Family Support Donald Trump?
The pictures making the rounds on the internet show the members of the Walz family wearing Trump paraphernalia with T-shirts boldly emblazoned “Nebraska Walz’s for Trump.”
This is immediately after a statement released by the elder brother of Kamala Harris’ running mate, which said that he is 100% opposed to Tim’s ideologies as per a report by the New York Times.
Jeff also said that he hasn’t talked to his brother for the last eight years.

When a user suggested to Jeff that he should talk to his brother, Jeff wrote on Facebook that his family was not aware that Tim Walz had not been selected as Kamala Harris’s running mate nor were they provided security subsequently. Jeff, a registered Republican, added that Tim is not a person who could be trusted to make decisions about the future.
Jeff also stated that he is not averse to endorsing Donald Trump but is in a fix about bringing his family into this debate.
Donald Trump shared the pictures on Truth Social and also expressed his thanks to Jeff for endorsing him.
The pictures have created a buzz, but many are deriding them as AI images and pointed out that most of the persons in the image have four fingers.
However, Herbster’s spokesperson, Rod Edwards, stated to Forbes that the pictures are genuine, and the persons are related to Walz through his paternal great uncle.
The family members in the picture were descendants of the brother of Tim Walz’s grandfather, Francis Walz.
However, Rod clarified that Jeff was not featured in the pictures. The persons were overwhelmed by the media attention and hence want to remain anonymous.
