Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 6 brings Sam-dal, Yong-pil and Sang-do to Seoul where a new beginning awaits them. But before we dive further into what happens today, let us remind you of the previous episode. Episode 5 showed how a turn of events brought the friends together as misunderstandings finally get cleared.
Directed by Cha Young-hoon, Welcome to Samdal-ri (웰컴투 삼달리) is a rom-com starring Ji Chang Wook, Shin Hye Sun, Seo Hyun-chul, Kim Mi-hwa, Yang Kyung-won, and Baek Hyun-joo alongside other cast members. The show will have 16 episodes and be broadcast on JTBC in the Saturday-Sunday slot at 10:30 PM KST time slot previously occupied by Strong Girl Nam-soon. Welcome to Samdal-ri episode 6 has a run time of 70 minutes.

Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 6 Recap
Since the first day, Yong-pil knew where Sam-dal was as he could see her through the camera near the seaside. Following the first day when he saved her from falling into the water, he made sure to rush to her side whenever she went there to drink. Now, he saw Sang-do arriving at Sam-dal’s aid before him, however, this didn’t stop him from making his way to her.
He hands over the umbrella he brought for her and the trio walks back home when Sang-do begins a conversation about how Sam-dal hasn’t changed much. This reminds the two of the conversation they had the previous day and while Sam-dal tries to emphasize that she has changed, the two don’t agree.

Meanwhile, Sam-dal’s team members back in Seoul find out that Eun-ju has stolen Sam-dal’s concept for a big photo shoot and inform her of the same. Sam-dal is shocked by this and finally decides to make her way to Seoul and clear the questions she has had in her mind. Seeing this, Yong-pil and Sang-do decide to accompany her there and the trio make their way to Seoul.
On the other hand, Jin-dal cannot stop thinking about how she came across her husband, especially after the way she had left him years ago. Elsewhere, Ha-yul goes around town but sees eyes filled with pity from many except a man who seems to be new in town. In Seoul, Eun-ju presents the concept she had stolen from Sam-dal which surprises Chung-ki as he is aware that this is Sam-dal’s concept.
As the meeting regarding this continues, Sam-dal arrives at the company and makes her way to the meeting. She is shocked to see her concept laid out in front of her, but she has more important questions to ask Eun-ju. Meanwhile, Yong-pil and Sang-do get worried for Sam-dal and finally decide to make their way to her.
Sam-dal finally asks Eun-ju if she is the reason that she tries to kill herself; Eun-ju denies that being the reason and this finally releases the burden from Sam-dal’s shoulders. However, Eun-ju doesn’t stop there and says something to her that only angers Sam-dal. Chung-ki rushes inside the meeting room to make Sam-dal leave when Yong-pil arrives and makes him back off.
He then holds Sam-dal and the two leave from there. Sam-dal finally bursts into tears and tells him that she wasn’t the reason why Eun-ju tried to take her life. The burden finally leaves Sam-dal and the two stay there until closing hours. Sang-do also sees them together but decides against disturbing them.
The two finally realise that it has gotten late and move apart, however, Sam-dal is not done yet and makes her way back to the two. However, this time she brings back her calm self and tells Eun-ju that she can go ahead with the concept that she has stolen from Sam-dal as she wouldn’t be able to nail it anyway.
Sam-dal walks away with a clear conscience after making Eun-ju realise the burden that she has to carry from here on. She leaves without letting her friends know which leaves them worried. However, Yong-pil knows where Sam-dal could be and finds her at the place which is etched in his memories.
Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 6 Ending
Just like years back when Sam-dal sat outside Jeju Bank in Seoul as she missed home and wanted to return, she once again sat here when she fell to her lowest. Years back, Yong-pil arrived at her aid right here and gave her strength to make it big in the industry and now he is here once again, this time with new advice.

Yong-pil tells Sam-dal to try and find herself once again, to leave behind the photographer Cho Eun-hye and find Cho Sam-dal from Jeju. The trio soon return to Samdal-ri where Sam-dal begins a new journey while her family continues to worry for her well-being, especially after finding out that she had gone to Seoul. However, Mi-ja gets a real shock when she finds out that Yong-pil has also gone to Seoul at the same time as Sam-dal.
Later that night, Sang-do asks Yong-pil if he still has feeling for Sam-dal while Mi-ja asks Sam-dal about the same, if she still has feelings for Yong-pil.
Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 6 Review
Another week goes by and we can see Sam-dal’s life slowly getting back on track, however, we have to say that she wasn’t the only one who stayed in our minds today. Little Cha Ha-yul has taken over our hearts today and there is no doubt that Kim Do-eun is doing absolute justice to this role.
Meanwhile, Sam-dal’s journey finally begins following this episode as she starts to look for her lost self in this small town. She is going to have an interesting journey hereon as she has got a very interesting group of friends who are going to help her find herself. However, while we would love to see her get back together with Yong-pil, I don’t think Sang-do is going to give up his shot for a second time.
Thus, along with Sam-dal’s self-searching journey, we are ready to see an interesting love triangle.
