Who Is Rhanni Davis? Chicago Blue Line Train Shooting Suspect Identified And Charged On Four Counts Of Murder
A 30-year-old Chicago resident, Rhanni Davis, has been charged with four counts of murder after a shooting on a CTA Blue Line train.
The shooting left four people dead.
All the victims were asleep when they were shot.
The victims were found by CTA staff and subsequently identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Davis was arrested on a CTA Pink Line train with a gun in his possession.
The victims were traveling to Forest Park terminal on the Blue Line train and they were shot shortly before 5:30 a.m.
The Blue Line train runs 24 hours a day between Forest Park and Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport and is operated by the Chicago Transit Authority.
Three of the four victims have been identified by Police and their names have also been released.
Two victims, Simeon Bihesi, a 28-year-old man, and Adrian Collins, a 60-year-old man had been initially identified.
The third victim has been identified as a 64-year-old woman Margaret Miller.
The fourth victim was taken to the local hospital but he succumbed to his gunshot wounds and died. He is still to be officially identified.
Rhanni Davis was apprehended after reviewing the surveillance videos.
The suspect was apprehended from a CTA Pink Line Train at the California Avenue stop in Little Village, and taken into custody later Monday morning.
A 9mm Glock 43 with six rounds was recovered from his possession as per Forest Park police Lt. Daniel Pater, who is in charge of the investigation unit.
According to Forest Park police, Rhanni Davis started shooting near the Harlem station on the Oak Park-Forest Park village line—one stop before the terminal. Davis was wearing a mask at that time.
Police are still baffled by the motive of the shooting.
Surveillance footage also revealed that the shooter casually walked through the train and shot the sleeping victims who were sleeping in two different carriages.
