Arteta planning to use Arsenal teenager in training; he loves Alexis Sanchez

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly plans to call Ayden Heaven into first-team training.

According to Football Transfers, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is planning to play with four central defenders in matches.

Ayden Heaven could get Arsenal first-team chance

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola does that.

Arteta wants to copy Guardiola’s tactics.

So, according to the report, the Arsenal manager is “looking to bring in young centre-back Ayden Heaven for training purposes, because of the 17-year-old’s ability to play down the middle and also as a left-back”.

In an interview with Arsenal’s official website last month, Heaven said that he was “a huge Arsenal fan” growing up.

The teenager added that “one of my favourite players was Alexis Sanchez”, noting that the forward “always managed to pick out a goal when we needed it”.

Heaven idolised Theo Walcott as well, saying that he “was a deadly finisher in front of goal”.

The teenager has been called up to Arsenal first-team training “a couple of times” and has really enjoyed it.

Interestingly, in the aforementioned interview last month, Heaven said that although his main priority is to defend well and keep clean sheets, he wants to score goals, especially from set pieces.
