The two main currencies of Endless Dungeon are Scrap and Cells, which you farm from defeated enemies to upgrade your character or improve your Hub, the Saloon. These important resources are rarer than you think, making them even more valuable. Several tricks can be used to farm these items faster than simply waiting for creatures in the dungeons you explore to drop them.
Scrap can be turned into permanent Saloon upgrades that affect all of your subsequent runs in the future. On the other hand, Cells are spent on specific characters in Endless Dungeon, giving them weapons or ability upgrades that are expressed through Chips equipped to an individual Hero. Whether you are playing with a friend or not in co-op multiplayer, you will want to spend these materials whenever you can before starting a new run.
How To Get The Most Scrap & Cells in Endless Dungeon
You can earn the most Scrap by purchasing the right Saloon upgrades and finishing runs, while Cells are collected by opening various chests and doors within a District. Scrap, unfortunately, is fairly difficult to farm, with only 300-400 being rewarded from a standard run in Endless Dungeon. However, you can bolster these numbers by getting the Ragpicking or Re-Recycling upgrades to the Saloon, which increase Scrap drop chances from enemies.
While Cells are harvested from Chests as reward items, Scrap technically counts as loot, meaning your character has to walk across it while in a dungeon to add the resource to your Inventory.
Hidden chests from around new Districts have the best chance to contain Cells, though not every box you come across will reward this currency. If exploration does not yield the amount of Cells you want, complete character-specific quests to farm a few occasionally. Not only will you get a couple of instances of the material, but you will also earn a Chip Slot that can apply an additional upgrade for your preferred Hero in Endless Dungeon.
When you eventually farm enough Scrap to buy the most important Saloon improvements, consider spending Scrap on Rare Chests. The items in these Chests are usually powerful tools, important resources, and even rare weapons that can help during your next run. They also are the best source to farm Cells in Endless Dungeon by only sacrificing a few Scraps at a time.
