Men ‘float inside UFO’ in Pascagoula abduction by aliens with ‘crab-like pincers’
The eerie Pascagoula UFO sighting and abduction of October 1973 is intriguing people exactly 50 years on.
Two men claimed they were taken by aliens while fishing near Pascagoula, Mississippi and it’s the talk of the internet.
Pascagoula UFO sighting
On the evening of October 11, 1973, 42-year-old Charles Hickson and 19-year-old Calvin Parker allegedly had a creepy alien experience.
They told the Jackson County Sheriff’s office they heard a whizzing sound while fishing off a pier on the west bank of the Pascagoula River.
“I was just getting ready to get some more bait when I heard a kind of zipping sound,” Hickson told The Washington Post in 1975.
The pair claimed they saw some flashing flashing lights and an oval-shaped 30-foot object that looked like a UFO.
“I looked up and saw a blue flashing light. Calvin turned around too. We saw a 30-foot-long object with a little dome on top,” he said.
Men ‘abducted by aliens’
The pair claimed the ‘UFO’ hovered above the ground and three creatures with winkled skin and “crab-like pincers” emerged.
Hickson and Parker said they were suddenly “paralyzed,” pulled towards the object and abducted by the aliens.
“I floated inside,” the 19-year-old told the Biloxi Sun Herald in 2018, adding that they were examined by a “big eye”.
The pair claimed they were then dropped back down into the same spot and found themselves screaming with their arms raised to the sky.

More witnesses come out
Their story was met with scepticism and ridicule and many have long believed it was a hoax. However, more witnesses came out in 2019.
Three people claimed they also saw a flying object with bright blue lights in the same area as Hickson and Parker – and at the same time.
Maria and Jerry told the Clarion Ledger they were sitting in their car and “noticed a blue light in the sky over where they were fishing”.
“It started moving and it seemed like it was following along the Pascagoula River,” Maria said. “It was just going back and forth.”
“I thought it was a helicopter initially and just blew it off,” Jerry added. “It landed about 150 to 200 yards from us.”
Maria also said she heard a “loud thumping splash” in the river which she thought was a person, but now thinks it was an alien.
Another woman, Judy Branning, also claimed she saw a “saucer-shaped” object while sitting in her car on the same night.
“The radio started sounding like it was running through all the stations and the car went dead. We were freaking out,” she said.
However, the truth about what really happened that night is still a mystery…
