Mission Yozakura Family Episode 3 Review: Power Of Love

Mission Yozakura Family Episode 3 Review Hellish Training Begins!

The episode opens up with Taiyo having a dream where he is failing to protect Mutsumi, now his beloved wife. This kind of situation is definitely taking a heavy toll on him, as he is even having nightmares about his wife being in danger.

He wakes up to a particularly dangerous protector and realises how much he needs to be stronger to not just protect Mutsumi, but also to survive in the Yozakura house. Thus, Taiyo goes to the best person who can help him be stronger, and that is none other than the big sister, Futaba. She is the first person who gave Taiyo and Mutsumi the idea to get married, and it is only natural that he believes her to be a supportive person.

But here, Taiyo also understands just how lacking he is and how difficult his journey is going to be. The moment his training starts, he is sure he’s not going to pass and fail to become a true Yozakura. The house is filled with traps and spy machinery that every Yozakura member must get past to live normally. These traps only leave out Mutsumi because she is the head and hence, must be protected at all costs. But for Taiyo, these things become a menace.

The things that Taiyo through are merciless and anyone else would have run from that sort of situation. Just to give an example, he must get up and stop an alarm clock, which, if not stopped at the correct moment, will detonate as it is a time bomb. But our hero takes all this torturous training in, because of his deep devotion and love for Mutsumi.

Today’s episode was interesting, and it was pretty fun to see the growth of Taiyo. The boy who was too scared to even talk to strangers is now training to become a spy. Plus, there is a mystery behind his origin, as he seems unnaturally talented for someone who has never gone through any formal training.

Verdict

This anime is definitely becoming more and more fascinating and entertaining, and I’m looking forward to the adventures of Taiyo and the Yozakura family. Now that he has started training, Taiyo should be able to defend Mutsumi from any dangers in the future, and hopefully, we will see his progress in the next episode.
