Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 16 premiered on February 12, 2024. Shark Tank India is a business reality TV series in Hindi that is broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television. It serves as the Indian adaptation of the American show Shark Tank. The program features entrepreneurs delivering business pitches to a panel of investors, known as sharks, who then determine whether or not to invest in their ventures.
Shark Tank India Season 3 consists of a panel of judges who will give new entrepreneurs funds in exchange for equity in their company. The four main judges include Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, Aman Gupta and Vineeta Singh. The new additions are Deepinder Goyal, Founder and CEO, Zomato; Azhar Iqubal, Co-founder & CEO, Inshorts; Ritesh Agarwal, Founder & CEO, OYO Rooms; Radhika Gupta, MD & CEO, Edelweiss MF; Varun Dua, Founder, ACKO, and Ronnie Screwvala, Co-Founder and Chairperson, UpGrad.
Additionally, Rahul Dua resumes his role as the host of the show. The episode premieres on TV and is live-streamed as well on the Sony LIV app. Each episode has a total runtime of 60 minutes.

With hopes, dreams and a desire to make a change, three new businesses arrive, seeking an extra boost from the masters at the game. These new entrepreneurs have some of the most unique ideas to not just become profitable, but create a change and a revolution in the country. Moreover, a new Shark, Ronnie Screwvala joins the panel of esteemed investors.
The first company that arrives with the name AltCo, is presented by two young entrepreneurs. It serves as an alternative to dairy products which are easily available in the market. They sell plant-based milk which is not only a healthier alternative but also beneficial for the environment. However, the company is not yet profitable and still burning around 45 lakhs every month. This revelation did not excite the investors and they did not receive any offers.
The next business that arrives is a company which uses recyclable plastic to make sunglasses. The founder specifically mentions the use of multi-layer plastic which is usually found in a packet of chips. His vision is to not just help the environment but also to make the livelihoods of the waste pickers better. The impact-based company is working towards the holistic betterment of society.
However, the Sharks are not convinced at the pitch and ask the founder’s motivation behind the establishment of the company. He reveals that he lived outside India for a couple of years and also had a high-paying job. But he was unhappy with the life he led and wished to make a change. Finally, Ronnie Screwvala and Piyush give him the desired offer and the deal is closed.
The third company, Kibo, presents a technology which is a revolutionary innovation for the visually impaired. The founders are dedicated to making the lives of the blind individuals better. The technology easily allows the section of people to make learning easier by availing the content in various regional languages. Right after a few questions and answers, Piyush and Ronnie give an offer. However, Aman also gives an offer which is a much higher valuation than theirs.
However, after much deliberation, the founders come in with a counteroffer. However, due to not meeting the needs, Aman steps out of the race. Finally, Piyush and Ronnie’s offer is the only offer on the table and the founders accept it without much thought.

The new episode of Shark Tank introduces us to a new segment of entrepreneurs who are more focused on elevating the quality of life rather than mindlessly acquiring profit. Moreover, it also helps the audience learn about the various superior substitutes that can enhance their lifestyle. And as usual, the nitty-gritty of a business and the intense battle of Shark offers add another layer of entertainment which keeps the viewers staying for the long haul.
