Trump personally responds to questions about Barron’s future

Former President Donald Trump offered a sneak peek into the prospective plans for his youngest son who may be a chip off the old block in his future education.

There has been much speculation about what college the 6 ft. 8-inch Barron Trump will choose as he graduates high school in 2024. The former president was candid about the academic future of the son he shares with former First Lady Melania Trump as he spoke with independent journalist Megyn Kelly, indicating that the high-school senior may decide to follow in his father’s footsteps.

Trump proudly spoke of getting along well with his son and what a great athlete and student he is.

“Barron’s very tall – about six-eight. And, he’s a good kid. He’s a good-looking kid. He’s a great student, very good student,” he told Kelly, adding that he and Melania are “looking at” the possibility of his son attending the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

The former president and three of his children have all graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. The senior Trump graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in economics back in 1968.

Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump both graduated from Wharton. Tiffany Trump graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Eric Trump was the only outlier and attended Georgetown University.

“Per AP News, Donald’s relationship with the Wharton School is reportedly a bit more on the complicated side, with many parts of the school not proudly showing he went there like many of their other accomplished alumni. But since three of his kids went there still, there’s still a major chance Barron would go (and potentially have a good time there),” SheKNows reported.

“For those who don’t know, Donald has five children in total. He and his first wife, the late Ivana Trump, welcomed three children named Donald Jr., born in 1977, Ivanka, born in Oct 1981, and Eric, in 1984. Donald and his second wife Marla Maples welcomed a daughter named Tiffany, born in Oct 1993, and then he welcomed his fifth child named Barron, born in March 2006, with his current wife Melania Trump,” the media outlet added.

A close source to the former first couple previously revealed to People that “Barron has always been a first priority in [Melania’s] life,” adding that “She has always surrounded herself with family. She is a doting mother to Barron and very protective of him.”

“As a mother … I know what goes into raising a child. It takes an incredible amount of strength, a lot of time, a generous amount of patience, and all of our love,” Melania shared during a Mother’s Day event in 2018 with People.

“Because of the powerful bond between a mother and her child, when they feel emotions, so do we – whether they are happy or nervous, sad or excited, we feel those things with them. I think it is one of the most powerful and beautiful parts of motherhood,” the former first lady added.

Barron Trump is attending the Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida, where he will be graduating with the class of 2024.
