‘Wow’: Alan Pardew stunned by ‘electric’ player Liverpool want to sign

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto, and talkSPORT pundit Alan Pardew has been hugely impressed by him.

Former Newcastle United and West Ham United manager Alan Pardew has noted that Pedro Neto, who is on the radar of Liverpool, has been “electric” for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 23-year-old Portugal international winger helped Wolves beat defending champions Manchester City 2-1 at home in the Premier League on September 30.

And then this past weekend, Neto provided the assist for Wolves’ goal in the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa in the league.

According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool are among the clubs who are keen on signing Neto and have scouted him this season.

Earlier this month, Football Transfers reported that Liverpool have earmarked Neto as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Salah has interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia, and, according to the report, if the Egyptian forward left, then Liverpool would try to sign Neto.

Pardew said about Neto on talkSPORT (6:57pm, October 8, 2023): “Wow! The last couple of games I have seen, he looks electric. How good is he, Neto!?”

Neto has scored one goal and given five assists in eight Premier League matches for Wolves so far this season.

The winger has made 99 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

Neto has scored 10 goals and given 15 assists in those games.

I think that winger would be a very good signing for Liverpool.

Neto is a very young player, and I believe that he would become better and would add facets to his game under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
