James Maddison and Virgil van Dijk seriously impressed by £34.5m Tottenham Hotspur player

Micky van de Ven made his debut for the Netherlands on Friday evening, and Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder James Maddison and Liverpool central defender Virgil van Dijk are pleased.

The Netherlands suffered a 2-1 defeat to France in a Euro 2024 qualifier on Friday evening.

Micky van de Ven made his debut for the Netherlands.

Van de Ven has been playing well for Tottenham Hotspur this season following his move from VfL Wolfsburg in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham paid an initial transfer fee of £34.5 million for the 22-year-old (Sky Sports).

On Friday evening, Van de Ven came on for Manchester City defender Nathan Ake in the 80th minute.

And, as you can see below, the youngster is pleased to have made his debut for the Netherlands.

Tottenham and England international attacking midfielder James Maddison is pleased for Van de Ven, and so is Liverpool and Netherlands international centre-back Virgil van Dijk.

Micky van de Ven has scored one goal in eight Premier League matches for Tottenham so far this season.

Tottenham are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 20 points from eight matches.

Spurs are level on points with North London rivals Arsenal, who are second.
